Girlie Pop! was founded by women, for women. We are feminists-but we've evolved past burning bras like our grandmothers. Sometimes a girl wants to feel pretty in a cute bralette!

We bring that philosophy to one of the most controversial feminist acts a girl can do-shaving. Women have been shamed for having and removing body hair since the conception of feminism. Over at Girly Pop!, we tackle that stigma head-on.

Our razors have a self-aware sense of humor going right into the product design. We know unrealistic beauty standards kill confidence, but sometimes a girl just wants to shave her entire body and go on a shopping spree. The self-awareness is what makes our actions feminist, and our products whole-heartedly embrace the satire.

Meet Brooklynn. She's a bisexual womxn-identified womxn who grew up feeling crippling shame for her desire to shave her armpit hair. She genuinely loves the way a smooth pit looks and feels, but she's made to feel bad about that on social media. Her problem, and the problem so many girlies face, is that the way she likes to present and feel good about herself often conflicts with stereotypes about what her political values should look like in practice.
